I created this blog while I was taking part of Becoming a Webhead 2006. Since then it has improved a lot and it has become a very important tool for my students. They are used to take part of it and when I find any interesting activity I post it here.

The posts range from listening activities to songs, exploring new tools, including a podcast (we've started using it), writing, grammar games.

Activities are for all levels and go with the ones in the classroom. On the other hand there are a lot of posts to encourage them to crytical thinking : True colours as an example.

Some of them were especially succesful like the one with a Chicken: Subservient Chicken . It's a video (I don't know how it works) where commands are given to a chicken that performs them.

I use Odiogo, so they can listen to the text I posted.

A students' blog

We saw Jesus Christ Superstar, the last version from Direct TV (fantastic). My students loved it. After that they compared the Gospels' version with that by Lloyd Weber.

All of them had to edit a post with their own production, adding pictures.

In the meanwhile I looked for people interested in the topic , so they could comment on our students' blog.

Of course Webheads were there with their helping hands , but I got people from different webrings.

When they got comments they just couldn't believe their eyes, me neither... If you visit it, you'll see comments just in the first posts.

We explored another tools like Frappr or Survey Monkey. They felt really proud of their product.

This blog was written by my students of 2nd Polimodal EAS, this year. We were working 2nd conditional, by brainstorming we got a lot of DREAMS. "If I could..." was the moving idea. 

Before their own blog, we visited several webheads blogs and they had to leave comments to young people all over the world. Real English messages for real people!!! (not just their English teacher,hahaha)

Then they wrote about the Dream they had chosen

And as usual Webheads were there with their support and their TIME !!!!

My kids were so happy.They read the comments , brought them to the class and reported them to their mates. This group of students were so proud that they wanted to share it with everybody and at this very moment they're asking me another idea to go ahead with the blog.

It's a blog in Spanish. Maybe it's interesting because it's got several tools. It was done after an art show, where many Internet resources were used.

Students' production is shown with links to the pages used , so you can do the same models or crafts. The goal is to encourage people to have fun and learn a bit of art through the Internet. Why ?? I'm also an architect so I'm an art teacher , too. 

There are many tools including animation. I could upload a very simple video done by a teen of 9th course.

Another Spanish blog. This time by another group of students showing our small village. The aim in this case is a community service (just starting), with local news.

There is neither newspapers nor local radio.

Many people who live far from Del Valle, but have left their hearts here, love having news, seeing pictures, etc. The potential for our students is fantastic and it's also interesting for our small community. They feel Del Valle is on the map.
