Since 2006, I have created blogs for a variety of purposes. Some of them are listed below:
- Nina's First Blog. I created this one during my first Becoming a Webhead session in EVOnline 2006 and I still post to it occasionally. It chronicles my development as a blogger and user of internet tools, and its audience is primarily other webheads.
- Nina's Reading Blog. I use this blog to reflect on books I've read. I mostly write it for myself, although occasionally someone else stumbles on it and leaves a comment.
- Learning English at MEI. This was my first class blog, created the same semester I started blogging. It's an example of a team blog; my students participated in the blog as authors.
- The 003 Blog. The following semester, I taught the same class, but this time I had the students create individual blogs, rather than posting to the class blog. Links to their blogs are in the sidebar.
- AGU in America 2008. This blog was created for a special two-week program in August for Japanese undergraduate students. It is a team blog, with the program coordinator, teacher, and three student mentors all contributing posts. Links to participants' blogs are in the sidebar. Several participants are still posting to these blogs from Japan.
- English Power. This is my first attempt to reach an unknown audience of EFL/ESL students. Each post recommends a website or learning strategy students can use to enhance their English learning outside of class.
- Webheads and Friends at TESOL 2007. I created this blog on the occasion of the TESOL Convention in Seattle, Washington in March 2007, and invited all the webheads who attended the convention as authors. It's one of my favorite blogs!
